Description

Intro to Java is a practical introduction to Java programming, focused on developing Java applications for desktop, web, and mobile platforms. It provides a structured guide to Java application development through the introduction of the basic building blocks of the Java language: variables, functions, arrays, conditional statements, classes, and more.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course the participant will be able to:
  • Understand the fundamentals of computer programming;
  • Problem-solve by taking a problem, figuring out the algorithm, then writing the code to enable the solution;
  • Install and use a good Java development environment.
