Description

12 PDUs

Monitoring and controlling a project is the proactive way to find issues ahead of time in order to take corrective action. In this workshop we will cover the how-to of collecting measures of project performance, analyzing them to forecast the need for corrective action, disseminating performance information, and managing the change across one or multiple projects. Using realistic project scenarios, you will apply the monitoring techniques and learn to make informed and fact-based decisions derived from project controls. The workshop will define scope, schedule, quality and cost measures in order to align with executive management expectations. It will also explore Earned Value Management and other established techniques designed to bring the project back in line with project objectives and constraints, all with the objective of improving current and future execution and avoiding known performance problems.
