Description

Even the most successful groups or teams may not know how to solve a problem or address a difficult issue. A skilled facilitator can assist in these and other situations by helping groups and teams work effectively so that they can identify and develop shared solutions.

An essential element of facilitation is establishing and following a process so individuals can hear and understand others and be heard and understood at the same time. As facilitation can significantly increase group and team productivity and performance, the ability to facilitate is an essential competency for anyone who wants to better work with and lead others.

Through a combination of practical lessons, discussions, and hands-on experiential exercises, participants will enhance both their knowledge of facilitation and ability to facilitate.
