Coding for Veterans Program
In partnership with Coding For Veterans, the University of Ottawa offers two primary academic programs: Software Development and Cyber Security. Both programs are delivered 100% online and provide a leading industry curriculum for students to be job-ready upon graduation.
It is projected that there will be over 182,000 unfilled tech jobs within Canada over the next few years. The University of Ottawa and Coding For Veterans aims to help fill this gap by re-training and re-skilling Canada's military veterans for jobs in Canada's tech sector.
Both full time and part time students can enroll in the University of Ottawa-Coding for Veterans program. All classes are in a protected cohort, which means that you will be learning with other military veterans who have served our country.
This program is recognized by Veterans Affairs Canada, and tuition for students enrolled in the program is 100% funded through Veterans Affairs Canada. Students are encouraged to contact their VAC advisor or set up their My VAC Account to find out more information about funding qualification details.
