The Professional Development Institute is proud to launch its new programming focused on international relationships and peacebuilding.
Join us on November 22nd to learn about the new Integrative Peacebuilding program that has at its heart a commitment to human security and well-being.
Integrative Peacebuilding (IPB) both informs and draws upon emerging and past international practices. The program focuses on getting people and organisations out of silos so they are truly collaborating on goals thus creating a trusted web of collaborative action. IPB remains open and attentive to emergent opportunity and acknowledges the value of co-creation in the structures, systems, dynamics, and conditions that are meant to effect change in peacebuilding and intervention efforts. The IPB Program is designed for people already engaging in efforts to bring sustaining peace into conflict and post-conflict areas. Based on the premise that integration is more effective than fragmentation, participants will develop the confidence and skills required for trust-building, repairing relationships, critical reflection, cross-cultural communication and dialogue, and integrating multiple parties and points of view.
Continental breakfast will be served.
