The Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI) and the Professional Development Institute (PDI) of the University of Ottawa will host an invitation-only cyber event on January 29th 2020.
At this event; CADSI will officially unveil the key findings from its 2020 study of allied leading models and practices in government-industry cyber collaboration, including key recommendations developed jointly through interviews and discussions with government and industry experts. CADSI will also present a new Spectrum of Cyber Collaboration and a new Collaborative Activity Framework, built from the best practices of our allies, from which government and industry can build a more effective and rewarding collaborative foundation of cyber engagement going forward.
This will be a small-scale, intimate event, building progressively on the discussions from the first CADSI-PDI cyber engagement, that will bring together those 50 key individuals from government and industry who possess the expertise and influence to shape the future of cyber defence in Canada.
Most importantly, it will continue to provide one of the few recurring fora to advance an ongoing dialogue and open knowledge exchange between government and industry experts around Canada’s most pressing cyber challenges, and will continue to build trust, productive relationships, and progress towards a better cyber future for all Canadians.
