Information and Cyber Security Management Certificate

Program Overview

There is increasing demand for cyber security professionals who have management skills to lead teams, manage information security projects, analyze threats to information, privacy, infrastructure and assess management systems to ensure they are aligned with the business needs of the organization. You will upgrade your knowledge and skills in information and cyber security, risk management, protection techniques, threat assessments, and incident response.

Successful completion of the program is considered a good preparation for internationally recognized industry certifications.

Program Requirements

Enrollment is open to anyone. The Information and Cyber Security Management Certificate offers two learning paths.

1. Professional Development Certificate

  • Participants must complete all core courses (66 hours) within a three-year time frame.
  • Some courses have prerequisites (listed on individual course pages).
  • This program includes a capstone project and a final self-assessment

  2. Cyber Security, Body of Knowledge
  3. Cyber Security, Frameworks and Standards
  4. Cyber Security, Implementation and Management
  5. Cyber Security, Business Case Applications
  6. Cyber Security Capstone Project and Test

 

2. Professional Development Advanced Certificate

  • Participants must complete the requirements of the Professional Development Certificate and complete an additional 42 hours of elective courses, from the list below, in order to receive an Advanced Certificate.
  • Participants must complete all core courses and electives within a five-year time frame.
