Many times, we say 'yes' to things we do not want and 'no' to things in a way that does not represent who we want to be (think angry you or nervous you). Regardless of the position of power, most people in organizations experience this challenge and the inner churn that often goes with it.
In this course, participants will explore cultural and personal beliefs around boundaries and how these beliefs show up in work and life. They will unpack why popular approaches to setting boundaries often feel awkward and unfulfilling for people on both sides of the boundary setting experience. You will explore key ingredients that help us show up in a confident and connected way so that boundary setting feels more like a tool that supports positive interactions even in difficult situations.
Participants learn a simple model they can use to improve healthy boundaries and leave with practical tips for getting started using boundaries to transform professional and personal relationships.
