Delivering for Canadians:

Overcoming Ottawa’s Technology and Procurement Challenges with an Outcome-Based Approach

Event Overview

Join us October 29 from 8:00-11:30am for an educational forum with leading technology and acquisition experts respecting procurement strategies and approaches being used by the Government of Canada to deliver successful IM/IT projects for Canadians.

The pandemic demonstrated the power of outcome-based project management to rapidly respond to the urgent needs of Canadians. Define a problem and ask industry experts to deliver a solution. However, today, even in Budget communications, IT procurement is noted more for being a roadblock than a means to a solution.

Procurement methodologies and project management strategies can and need to be improved to ensure efficiency and delivery. Faced with financial cutbacks and ongoing recruitment challenges, an increasing number of departments and agencies will have no choice but to turn to outcome-based projects to achieve digital transformation on time and on budget.

But how can this be achieved? This forum suggests ways of doing so successfully.
