Proofreading: The Final Step in Editing

Overview

Proofreading: The Final Step in Editing You can’t afford to lose credibility by having errors in your publication or Website, but time, personnel and money are in short supply. This workshop covers the last step before publication – proofreading to ensure your document is ready to face the world. This workshop teaches strategies for efficiently and effectively capturing and eliminating errors. We’ll do exercises to demonstrate the difference between reading and proofreading. You’ll learn when to proofread during the production process, see where errors tend to lurk in documents, and evaluate which elements to focus your time on.
