Part 1- PRINCE2® 6th Edition Foundation Training and Exam (3 days)

This workshop prepares participants for the PRINCE2® 6th Edition Foundation exam. As a result, it will cover the themes, processes and principles at a Foundation level. Participants will gain a solid understanding of PRINCE2® 6th Edition methods and will be able to both work and fulfill their project roles effectively in a PRINCE2® 6th Edition environment. We’ll do Foundation practice exam questions and dissect the answers to ensure that you understand the concepts and are ready for the exam.

As part of this workshop, you’ll write the PRINCE2® 6th Edition Foundation exam (set by AXELOS and provided by PeopleCert). Upon successfully completing the exam (grade of 50% or higher), you’ll obtain the PRINCE2® 6th Edition Foundation certificate.

Part 2-  PRINCE2® 6th Edition Practitioner Training and Exam (2 days)

*Prerequisite: PRINCE2® 6th Edition Foundation certificate

 The PRINCE2® 6th Edition Practitioner course is for those who have passed the Foundation exam and want to develop the knowledge and ability to effectively apply what they learned. This workshop prepares you for the PRINCE2® 6th Edition practitioner exam. Our PRINCE2® 6th Edition certified trainers will ensure you will have detailed knowledge of the PRINCE2® 6th Edition methodology and the skills to use it in project management situations. You’ll develop the skills to analyze project context and roadblocks and make decisions using the method. We’ll do Practitioner practice exam questions and dissect the answers to ensure that you understand the concepts and are ready for the exam and the application of the methodology to real projects.

As part of this workshop, you’ll write the PRINCE2® 6th Edition Practitioner exam (set by AXELOS). Upon successfully completing the exam (grade of 50% or more), you’ll obtain the PRINCE2® 6th Edition Practitioner certificate.

Featured Instructor

Frank Townson served over 34 years in the federal public service with Industry Canada, Treasury Board and Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (DFAIT). At DFAIT, he served as Director, Berlin Embassy Project; Director, Project Implementation; Director, Professional and Technical Services; and Director, Property Portfolio Management. Since retiring from DFAIT in 2004, he has acquired an additional fourteen years’ private sector experience in project management consulting and project and risk management training services. Frank holds the PRINCE2 2017 (Practitioner), the Project Management Professional (PMP), Project Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP), and the Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) certifications. In addition, he holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Laurentian University.
