In this course, participants will explore techniques used by renowned negotiators to quickly build trust, connect diverse stakeholders, and lead focused dialogue. Together, we will practice a powerful though simple framework to lead purposeful interactions. You will formulate your own strategies to enable meaningful exchange of ideas when leading your meetings, guiding your presentations, or running workshops.

This course requires active participation.

Nell van Walsum, M.Sc., PMP, has over 30 years’ experience as an executive, leadership mentor, advisor, facilitator, and instructor. Ms. van Walsum is a scientist, was president of a local environmental consulting firm, and currently works as an independent consultant focusing on leadership and co-creation (i.e. Nell is part of the leadership team of the Innovation Inclusion Hub in Ottawa to promote co-creation of innovation through inclusion). In the past 10 years she has worked for industry, academia, government, and NGO’s, in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
