Business Process Improvement – Problem Solving Tools

6 PDU's

One of the first steps to creating a Process Improvement culture is to encourage the people involved to always be improving and to look at their environment with a problem solver’s mindset. We began this journey in the Business Process Improvement for Problem Solving workshop. In its sequel, we take a deeper dive focused on a variety of problems and their resolution. To help us in this quest we use a meta-tool (included) designed to help us select among the potential tools and techniques proposed for each problem-solving step and apply the instruments selected to a real-life business scenario that participants will be dealing with.

Emphasis in this workshop is on practicing both individually and in teams in order to develop the skills of application and a first-hand understanding of the potential pitfalls and how to avoid them.

This course can provide up to 6 PDUs / contact hours towards attaining or maintaining the Project Management Professional (PMP)® designation. Participants must submit the request to PMI via the Continuing Certification Requirements System (CCRS).

Professional Development Units are allocated according to the number of training hours completed by the student and may be granted by increments of 0.25 PDU for each 15 minutes of training. A participation certificate will be given to students who attend a minimum of 75% of the course.
