Introduction to DevOps


DevOps is sweeping the IT world, but what is it exactly? This short course clarifies the problems that led to DevOps, defines DevOps and explains how it can benefit any organization involved in developing and deploying software. Topics include:

  • The pillars of DevOps, focusing on people and culture
  • Phases and tools in the DevOps lifecycle
  • Connections to CI/CDpractices
  • A preview of new developments in DevOps.

This course features hands-on labs performed on a 3-node cluster hosted within CENGN’s private cloud infrastructure. Labs build on each other to demonstrate how multiple tools are used in real-world scenarios.

This training package includes one attempt for the CENGN DevOps exam. Those who successfully complete the exam will earn a CENGN DevOps digital badge, which can be posted on LinkedIn and other social media.

Duration: Learners will need 4 -5 hours to complete the course. Learners will have access to the online content for 3 weeks.
